Ascend  makes it easy and economical for a company providing such services to support multiple offices from a central location. Ascend can store data for hundreds of offices on a single Microsoft SQL Server database, and each office’s data is logically separated from the other offices as required by HIPAA and security policies.  Ascend  can also be shared with remote locations by optionally employing a centralized Citrix or Terminal Services server.

Centralized Functions

Numerous Ascend  functions are available to support a large company’s operations from a central location so they don’t have to be repeated for each facility.  These include centralized facility inventory and order-template management, production of facility and company-wide reports, and central pharmacy and/or remote office prescription processing.  Ascend can also enable certain of your users to have access to patients and orders across multiple facilities, if they have the proper security clearance.
