Ascend 7.0 Release Announcement

Mediware is pleased to announce the General Availability of the Ascend 7. 0 release. This release includes many new features as outlined in the 2011 Product Enhancement Schedule. The software is currently available to download and install into your environment. More details about the release content are posted in the Release Notes along with the software. Some of the key features include:
• Assigning diagnosis to a specific admission
• New ASAP 4.1 2009 version
• New dedicated order label field
• Improvements to outpatient Ready To Bill screen
• Laboratory abnormal flags added
• Multiple enhancements to CPOE workflow
