Ascend Trial Software Download

Follow the steps below for installing the Ascend Trial Version on
your system.

Download Ascend_Trial.EXE (7.4 MB) to a directory
on your computer.

After the download is complete, launch
Ascend_Trial.EXE and
install the program using the default settings.
- After starting the program, go into the Setup screen and enter the settings for
the Ascend database on your SQL Server. Click here for more details on the client
setup properties.

Upon completing the installation, you should be able to use the
program for 30 days. You can use "Trial User" with the password "Trial" to log into the program.

Download the Ascend SQL Server Database (64 MB) (Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or newer)
This is a self-extracting file that contains the Ascend.MDF file which you can attach
to SQL Server versions 2000 or newer. If you are running a version of Microsoft
SQL Server newer than 2000, when you attach the database, Microsoft SQL Server should
automatically upgrade all the objects. You can use the SP_ATTACH_DB stored procedure
to attach the database.
