Hann’s On Software, Inc.
(HOS) is seeking a programmer to join our expanding company. We are seeking a
full-time staff programmer (not a “temporary” or “contract” programmer). This
job description is for a programmer who will be primarily responsible for
maintaining/developing code.
HOS distributes, maintains
and supports a variety of Windows products for use by home infusion businesses
and hospital pharmacies to support medication-related healthcare services.
Responsibilities
As an HOS programmer, you
will:
Work with HOS staff (e.g, senior programmers,
support staff, product manager) to plan program code enhancements and
changes.
Create, test and maintain HOS program code.
Create labels and reports using Crystal
Reports
Provide assistance to HOS technical support staff when they are
unable to resolve a program, SQL database, or IT issue by themselves.
Occassionally contact customers as may be needed to
clarify the intent of a new feature or resolve a problem.
Provide general programming assistance to other HOS
programmers/projects as may be needed.
Requirements:
The programmer must have 3+ years
experience with:
Visual Basic .NET and Visual Basic 6, including the use of program
“classes” and creation of DLL’s
SQL Server databases, SQL, ADO.NET
Windows 2000/NT Server and Windows XP/2000/98
SourceSafe, Crystal Reports
Experience with the
following is desirable but not required:
ASP.NET
MS Word, MS Excel, MS Exchange
Networking/LANs, TCP/IP protocol
ASCX12N, NCPDP EDI record formats
Health Level 7 (HL7) record formats
Software for home infusion/pharmacy/medical
operations or billing/claims
The programmer should also
possess the following traits:
